A Monochromatic Mix of Patterns kind of Pajamaresc

Ola!

Midterms are finally over, so I'll have a "lighter" weekend this time. Just a quick post to share what I'm wearing today. It's kind of monochromatic mix of patterns, pajamaresc like. I know what I wrote probably makes no sense at all in your heads, but it kind of does in mind... so deal with it!

Hope you like it!

Tom Binns

OMG is the best "expression" I kind find right now and I'm not a O.M.G. kind of girl, but this asks for it!
I just came across to this magnificent jewelry company, Tom Binns. Usually jewelry is not on the top of my list, but this jewelry is exactly everything I dream of. They're statement pieces but so fun and hip and at the same time they manage to be quite classic.
So I just had to share this with you, it will blow your mind!

October 21st, 2011 - Back to Basics

Ola!

I've had a lot of technology problems since I got to SF, in one month my computer decided to die twice on my and I decided to say by bye to him! Unfortunately, I lost everything I had in it.... looks that you'll never get to see. The good news is I got a new one, this time a Mac, and the thing is the program I used does not work on Macs, so I'm still learning to work with this thing, but I manage to do a few pictures.

I realized that I have never done any black'n'white on the blog. So here you go! This was a crazy week with never-ending projects and even though I have more projects and exams for next week, today I'm taking the day off. And that is why I'm dressed in a very comfortable and simple look, not much to say about it. I got these amazing leggings from Denimocracy, while I was working in NYC, if you don't know the brand you should check it out. They have really amazing things and the price point is still not that high.

October 6th - Love your ego, you won't feel a thing.

Olá,

I've realized that I haven't done much on the blog rather than Fashion Week... and that I haven't even said that I'm already living in San Francisco.

I've been here for a month now and school has already started.. so far so good! I'm learning tons about fashion!

This is the look I pulled off yesterday, this sweater was mu first purchase here and I love it, it's kind of cropped and the silver color is amazing and since silver can never be too much I decided to put silver cuffs over the sweater.

My teacher loved it, hope you love it too!

SS'12 NY - September 15th

BILL BLASS
Classic with nautical influences. This Bill Blass show was beautiful, glamorous and extremelly elegant.

CALVIN KLEIN
Calvin Klein in known for its minimalist look, for next spring the collection continues minimalistic but with some beautiful "intimmate apparel" details.

ISAAC MIZHARI
Amazing gowns, for a perfect red carpet moment. I loved the background, it was very different from what we usually see. Especially when it matched with the dress.

MARC JACOBS
The show took place in a "old dance hall" and what I most loved about it was the unusual choice of fabrics, Marc used a lot of plastic which was quite interesting.

NAEEM KHAN
If I ever get a red carpet moment I want to wear Naeem Khan. I always love what he does, in my opinion it is and will continue to the best gown glamorous designer.

RALPH LAUREN
Oh Ralph. The softest of the color palette I've seen in this fashion week. Very glamorous and old fashion looks, again reminiscing of the good old Hollywood era.
